The B. C. Bibb Stove Company founded in 1851
The B.C. Bibb Stove Company was founded in 1851 as a stove manufacturer and produced stoves, ranges, hollow ware, and fireplace heaters. The foundry was located in Port Deposit, Maryland; while the offices and showroom were on Light Street, in Baltimore. The company was well respected and the stoves manufactured by B.C. Bibb Company were shipped all over the country to heat America's Best Homes and Businesses.

In the early 1900's, Baltimore was the 6th largest city in America, and the B. C. Bibb Company had grown and was manufacturing central heating furnaces and had numerous patents on their innovative products.
In 1902 Willis Haviland Carrier invented the first electrical air-conditioner.
In 1904 after the Great Baltimore Fire, the first public water and sewer lines were installed in Baltimore.
Around that same time Baltimore implemented 4 steam heating plants to provide heat to public and private buildings.
Baltimore employed B.C. Bibb to install indoor plumbing, sewer lines and steam pipes in her homes and businesses.

Those were exciting and challenging times. A successful company had to be able to keep up with all the new advances in technology, forge relationships with the better manufacturers and integrate new and old technologies to provide their customers with Quality Equipment and Dependable Service.

Ned & Tad Stellmann both learned the Plumbing and HVAC trades from their grandfather Edward Stellman, "Dutch" and father Edward Stellman, Jr, "Puzzy".
Tad Stellmann is a Master Plumber, and heads up the Plumbing Division.
Ned Stellmann is a Master Plumber, HVAC Master, heads up the HVAC Division, and is the CEO.
